Yoga for Every Body makes Yoga available to anyone interested. Classes are sequenced into a Flow that stretches and aligns the total body. Our goal is for each student to leave the class feeling aligned and relaxed.
Yoga classes are designed to be a safe place to explore one's body, mind and spirit. Classes are taught in a systematic and progressive manner to prevent injury and allow the student's body to strengthen and tone. Core strength and flexibility are emphasized in each class.
Nancy Sherer created the concept of Yoga for Every Body in response to her experience in Yoga teachers training. Nancy is a registered Yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and member of the California and Midwest Teacher Associations. Nancy received her teaching certification through Ana Forrest of Forrest Yoga Circle.
Nancy's classes emcompass movement co-ordinated with breath, mudra, and introductory concentration/meditation techniques. Her intent in her teaching is for students to leave the yoga mat mentally centered, energetically clear, and emotionally poised.
